Mr. James Gipson

Mr. Gipson is a Dallas Native. He holds his Bachelor's Degree in music education from Prairie View A&M and is Master's in Education Leadership from Concordia University of Texas. Mr. Gipson has been an Educator for 6 years and is embarking upon year 2 at Townview High School. Mr. Gipson is an alumnus of Townview HS and cherish the moment of being able to return to his Alma Mater as a Band Director following in the footsteps of his mentor the Legendary Mr. Dean Hill. Mr. Gipson is excited about what’s in store for the Big D Band and looks forward to building on the rich history and legacy of the Award-Winning Grammy Signature Band.
