Mrs. Jennifer Sanders
Mrs. Jennifer L. Sanders is the Cluster Coordinator at the Marvin E. Robinson School of Business and Management (SBM) at the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center. Her role includes teaching courses in the Accounting and Financial Services CTE Program of Study, collaborating with teachers to develop career pathways, and supporting student initiatives and organizations.
Mrs. Sanders has a professional background that includes working for approximately ten years in corporate Accounting and nearly twenty years in secondary/post-secondary education. Mrs. Sanders earned a BBA in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, she has earned a Masters in Accounting from Dallas Baptist University where she also completed a certificate in Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs. Sanders began teaching in August 2002, all at SBM. The high school also serves as her alma mater. She is a proud graduate of the former SBM, Business and Management Center that was located in Dallas ISD's historic Dallas High School. While enrolled at the Business and Management Center, she was an active member of DECA through which she both engaged in competitions and served as a state officer. Now, as a teacher for her high school alma mater, she has served as an advisor for Business Professionals of America since 2003.
Mrs. Sanders is married to Rev. David O. Sanders, Jr., a former educator. Their daughter, Elisabeth, is pursuing a Master of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
